Tennessean: Former Haslam advisers form group aimed at adoption, foster care policy

A new group with major ties to former Gov. Bill Haslam's administration is taking aim at new policy solutions for Tennessee's adoption and foster systems.

The Adoption Project launched in late March, led by former Haslam adviser Jeremy Harrell and former Haslam spokesperson Jennifer Donnals. Donnals also served as chief of staff at the Department of Children's Services.

Both are adoptive parents, and Harrell said the process of adopting his two daughters in recent years led to conversations with former colleagues about how to improve Tennessee's system…. Keep reading from The Tennessean >
