Research.
We’re defining what it means to be “adoption friendly” by reviewing state laws and working with various stakeholders including adoption agencies, attorneys, advocacy organizations, and government entities.
Coalition Building.
We’re working with advocates for adoption and foster care, including other non-profits, state agencies, religious organizations, attorneys, and community leaders to build support for changes in adoption policy.
Creating Model Legislation.
We’re utilizing our research and experience to develop model legislation to make Tennessee the most adoption-friendly state in the nation and set a standard for the rest of the country.
Advocacy.
We’ll advocate for governors and legislators to pursue the identified changes to state adoption and foster care laws.
